Tipping is not a culture in Malayisa but is recommeded for restaurants without a a levy of 10% service charge. For other services, it is entirely up to the visitors depending on the satisfaction level. Some tour groups have tipping included in their package prices, in which case the group members are not obliged to pay again for the included services.
